Amberfied’s Community Guidelines

THE GUIDELINES HAVE THE FOLLOWING STRUCTURE:

PART 1 – Purpose
PART 2 – Guidelines applicable to all users of the Amberfied Platform
PART 3 – How Amberfied enforces these guidelines

PART 1

Our guidelines are designed to ensure that every interaction on the Amberfied platform feels safe, respectful, and positive. They apply to all users, including wellness providers, users, and businesses, and cover interactions across our platform, whether it’s through our website, mobile application, or in person. This includes interactions with our team members, whether it’s at our support centers, online, or over the phone. Please note that these guidelines are not contractual terms, and we reserve the right to update them as needed to ensure the best experience for all users.

What is the purpose of these Guidelines?

Through Amberfied, we’ve brought together a network of trainers, therapists, coaches, business owners, and wellness professionals, all dedicated to supporting others in their wellness journey.

To maintain a culture of respect, inclusivity, and safety, we’ve established community standards that guide interactions on our platform. While these guidelines are not legally binding, they inform our platform policies and evolve alongside our community.

As our community grows and changes, so too will these standards. We encourage all members to review and adhere to these guidelines to ensure a positive and thriving community experience.

PART 2

Guidelines applicable to all users of the Amberfied Platform

Everyone who uses the Amberfied Platform is required to follow the general guidelines set out in this Part (Part 2). There are also additional guidelines in Parts 3 – 4 below that may be applicable depending on your use of the Amberfied Platform. Please make sure you also review these sections, as applicable.

A. INTEGRITY AND AUTHENTICITY

1. Account Integrity

In order to buy and/or sell services on Amberfied you may have only one account. Creating multiple accounts on Amberfied can be misleading to other users and is considered a manipulation of our system. Any violation of this policy can lead to permanent suspension of the account(s) involved in this activity.

It is prohibited to open multiple accounts on Amberfied in order to (including but not limited to):

  • Gain a competitive advantage;
  • Harass/mislead other users through messaging and/or ordering systems;
  • Engage in any fraudulent activity;
  • Bypass a restriction—or permanent suspension—of a previous account;
  • Violate Amberfied’s Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards in any other way and/or manipulate the system.

Do not share your authentic credentials (personal email, payment information, phone number) that could be used to create multiple accounts on your behalf.

It is prohibited to:

  • Use a fake name, gender, photo, or any fictional or false biographical details in your user profile;
  • Present a fake document(s) if asked to verify your account;
  • Use AI-generated imagery/video on your Amberfied Profile account, with the purpose of impersonating another person—or misrepresenting yourself;
  • Impersonate other people by creating or using an account that deliberately misrepresents your identity, with the intention to mislead or deceive others;
  • Use any images or content without proper copyright clearance or authorisation.

Do not share your authentic credentials (personal email, payment information, phone number) that could be used to create fake accounts on your behalf. Amberfied reserves the right to permanently suspend accounts which represent a fake identity.

2. Honest Representation

Users should provide accurate and truthful information in their profiles, service listings, and communications. Misrepresentation is defined as fraudulent, negligent, and innocent misstatements, or an incomplete statement of a material fact. It is prohibited to:

  • Write misleading content in your profile description, skills section, professional background, and/or education;
  • Adjust the price of your service in personal messages before or after purchase;
  • Include images that are unrelated to wellness provider services or inaccurately represent their offerings;
  • Post inappropriate or misleading photos on user profiles.

3. People under the age of 18

To buy Amberfied services, individuals must be 18 years of age or older. Users are not permitted to purchase services for individuals under the age of 18, unless the individual will be accompanied by the account holder or another adult during an appointment. Additionally, children are not allowed to utilise an adult’s Amberfied account for accessing wellness services independently. These age restrictions remain in effect unless otherwise specified by our terms or policies.

Furthermore, if a wellness provider agrees to deliver a service to a user’s child, they must possess relevant licenses and insurance to provide wellness services to individuals under 18.

B. FOLLOW THE LAW

At Amberfied, we are dedicated to complying with all relevant laws and regulations to earn and maintain your trust. We expect all users of the Amberfied Platform to likewise uphold their responsibility and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Our standards are grounded in applicable laws and regulations, which all users must adhere to. For instance, the use of the Amberfied Platform for criminal activities such as money laundering, human trafficking, or sexual exploitation of children, is strictly prohibited.

1. Follow all laws

All wellness providers across different industries must adhere to applicable laws and regulations while using the Amberfied Platform. It is their responsibility to stay informed about and comply with any regulations relevant to their practice.

Providers are required to ensure that all necessary licenses, permits, and legal documents are kept up to date and provided to Amberfied when necessary. This includes maintaining any required professional licenses or certifications for their specific wellness practice.

We monitor reports of any incidents or complaints that may indicate unsafe or inappropriate behaviour by wellness providers. Providers are expected to follow local regulations regarding their practice, including any guidelines related to client safety, privacy, and professional conduct.

Clients should allow the wellness provider to lead the session and refrain from requesting or pressuring them to perform any services that may be illegal or against professional guidelines.

When providing services such as massage therapy, fitness training, or nutritional counselling, wellness providers must adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by their respective professional organisations or regulatory bodies.

2. Fraud

At Amberfied, intentionally providing false information or impersonating someone else, whether during account creation, security checks, or incident reporting, is strictly prohibited. Accuracy is crucial when reporting incidents, accessing Amberfied accounts, disputing charges, or requesting refunds or credits.

Users and wellness providers should only request fees, charges, or refunds to which they are legitimately entitled. Maintaining integrity in all interactions and transactions helps uphold trust and transparency within the Amberfied community. Fraudulent activity may also include, but not be limited to:

  • Accepting bookings or appointments without the intention to fulfill them, including provoking clients to cancel for fraudulent purposes;
  • Creating fake or duplicate accounts for deceptive purposes;
  • Submitting false claims for fees or charges, such as fabricated service fees;
  • Intentionally providing inaccurate information;
  • Claiming to have completed a wellness service or appointment without actually providing the service;
  • Engaging in actions to disrupt or manipulate the normal operation of the Amberfied Platform, including tampering with phone settings to interfere with platform functions;
  • Disputing fees or charges on the basis of fraudulent or illegitimate claims;
  • Making false accusations against another user for financial gain, such as seeking unwarranted refunds;
  • Allowing unauthorised access to your Amberfied account, in violation of our account sharing policy;
  • Falsifying documents, records, or other information for fraudulent purposes.

3. Off-platform cash payments

In adherence to the principles of transparency and accountability within the Amberfied community, we maintain strict guidelines regarding cash payments. Users are strongly advised against requesting refunds directly from wellness providers for services paid through the Amberfied platform. Instead, any issues or concerns regarding services should be promptly reported to Amberfied support for resolution.

Wellness providers are prohibited from encouraging users to make cash payments and subsequently requesting refunds from Amberfied. Such practices undermine the integrity of our platform and compromise the trust between users, providers and Amberfied. By adhering to these guidelines, we uphold a fair and secure environment for all members of the Amberfied community.

C. PROVIDE AND REQUEST WELLNESS SERVICES

At Amberfied, we promote wellness service categories that reflect the rapid changes occurring in the wellness industry. We are committed to ensuring our platform offers services that meet current demand. As part of this commitment, we may periodically update our category list and introduce new services.

If you offer a service that is not currently listed in our categories, please reach out to us at info@amberfied.com, and we will review your request.

1. Illegal and Prohibited Services

Amberfied is an open marketplace where users can offer or request a wide range of wellness services. However, certain services are prohibited for various reasons. Some services may pose risks to user privacy or finances, while others may not align with our values and policies.

Please note that the examples provided below are not exhaustive, and we may update our list of prohibited services over time. Additionally, we reserve the right to take action in response to any violation of this policy, including addressing new threats or harms that are not explicitly outlined.

  • Services that infringe third parties’ terms of service: A third party is a company or a person, other than Amberfied, that is indirectly involved in the services you offer or request. As a valued member of the Amberfied community, we ask you to follow the terms of service (TOS) of other platforms and companies. Before offering a service, wellness providers should review the TOS of any third-party locations involved. Likewise, users should avoid requesting services that could breach these terms. Amberfied retains the authority to act against users who disregard third-party TOS.
  • Services that can pose financial risks for our users: we prioritize the financial security of our users and take the protection of their private financial information seriously. Services that could potentially expose users to financial risks by requiring access to their sensitive financial data are strictly prohibited. Users must refrain from offering, agreeing to provide, or requesting services that involve accessing another user’s sensitive financial information, including managing financial accounts, providing loans, trading currency or cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency mining, credit repair services, or offering trading signals or strategies.
  • Zero tolerance for harmful services: We strictly prohibit offering or requesting services related to illegal activities, including those that promote, endorse, or facilitate unlawful behavior such as sexual exploitation, abuse, or human trafficking. User accounts found in violation of this policy will be suspended.

Users are prohibited from offering or requesting services related to illegal activities or that promote, endorse, or facilitate any unlawful behavior such as sexual exploitation, abuse, or human trafficking. We reserve the right to permanently suspend user accounts found in violation of this policy.

To safeguard our community, Amberfied is dedicated to enforcing its policies against any illegal activities or behaviors on the platform. If you come across any items that appear to violate these policies, please report them.

Please note that Amberfied retains the right to report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.

D. TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT

Our community on Amberfied is incredibly diverse, meaning you may encounter individuals who don’t resemble you or hold the same beliefs. It’s important to respect these differences. The guidelines outlined in this section aim to cultivate respectful and positive interactions across all experiences.

Treat everyone in the Amberfied community as you would wish to be treated yourself: with respect. Your actions on the Amberfied Platform can significantly influence the safety and comfort of others. Courtesy is essential. Therefore, it’s expected that you exercise good judgment and conduct yourself decently towards others while using Amberfied and engaging with fellow community members—just as you would in any public setting.

We prioritize creating a supportive and inclusive environment within the Amberfied community. To achieve this, we’ve developed standards and policies covering various areas such as physical contact, sexual misconduct, threatening behavior, post-experience communication, discrimination, and property damage.

1. Physical contact

Limit physical contact with strangers or individuals you’ve recently connected with on the Amberfied Platform. Exceptions are allowed for those requiring assistance or requesting services such as massage or physiotherapy, where human touch is necessary for service delivery. Nonetheless, causing harm or intending to harm others is strictly prohibited.

2. Sexual assault and misconduct

Respect for personal space and privacy is important to everyone. While engaging with others on Amberfied, feel free to chat, but refrain from commenting on someone’s appearance or inquiring about their relationship status. Sexual assault and misconduct are strictly prohibited, encompassing any sexual contact or behavior without the explicit consent of the other person.

Please respect personal space and privacy on Amberfied. Here are some examples of inappropriate behaviour, though it’s not a complete list:

  • Refrain from asking personal questions (e.g., about relationship status or sexual orientation);
  • Avoid commenting on appearance, whether derogatory or “complimentary.”
  • Do not make explicit comments or gestures, such as slurs or graphic/suggestive messages;
  • Avoid flirting, including nonverbal or suggestive behaviour, and maintaining appropriate physical distance;
  • Do not display indecent material, such as sexually suggestive objects or images;
  • Avoid making unwelcome sexual advances or behaving suggestively, even if you perceive your actions as harmless, including hugging, kissing, propositioning, or inappropriately exposing yourself;
  • Do not engage in unwanted physical conduct, such as touching, pinching, pushing, or grabbing;
  • Avoid making others uncomfortable, including through staring or prolonged eye contact;
  • Amberfied strictly prohibits any sexual activity, regardless of consent or familiarity with the other party.

3. Threatening and rude behaviour

Avoid aggressive, confrontational, or harassing behaviour on Amberfied. Refrain from using language, gestures, or actions that could be disrespectful, threatening, or inappropriate. For instance, refrain from sharing graphic images, such as those depicting explicit content or violence, within the Amberfied community. This includes unsolicited sharing of such images through your Amberfied’s account or during interactions on the platform. It’s also advisable to steer clear of personal topics that may lead to divisiveness, such as religion and political beliefs.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for threatening or rude behaviour, whether directed towards the Amberfied Support team or other users.

4. Post-experience contact

Contact should cease once the interaction related to the wellness service concludes, unless it pertains to returning or retrieving a lost item. Unwanted contact, which may be viewed as harassment, encompasses actions such as texting, calling, social media messaging, visiting, or attempting to visit someone in person after a service. Avoid sharing unnecessary contact information.

5. Discrimination

At Amberfied, everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. Discriminatory behaviour, whether directed towards the Amberfied Support team or users of our platform, will not be tolerated. Avoid discriminating against anyone based on characteristics such as age, colour, disability, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, national origin, appearance, race, religion or belief, political views, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

6. Spam

We define spam on Amberfied as a messaging activity that is unwanted, repeatedly occurring, and disruptive to the recipient’s experience. Spam can take many forms ranging from unwanted offers to commercially-motivated solicitations that aim to drive traffic or attention to websites, products, and services outside of Amberfied.

Do not:

  • Abuse our communication tools to send unsolicited or deceptive messages;
  • Distribute malware, phishing, or other potentially harmful content through Amberfied communication tools;
  • Use any artificial tools and/or automated processes (through software, scripts, bots, or any other means) to send mass messages;
  • Contact Amberfied users with offers, questions, suggestions, or anything unrelated to their services;
  • Send direct messages to promote your services outside of Amberfied Platform;
  • Ask for donations or free work

Not only does this activity undermine the integrity of our platform, it also violates the privacy of our members and is potentially harmful. If you encounter spam, please report it to us.

7. Your Feedback

If something occurs, whether positive or negative, feel free to reach out to us at info@amberfied.com so our Support team can assist you further. However, in the event of an emergency or if you’re in immediate danger, please prioritise your safety by alerting your local authorities or emergency services before contacting Amberfied.

You can choose to rate your experience after you complete your purchased service. Honest feedback helps ensure that everyone is accountable for their behaviour and can improve the experience for other users too. This accountability helps create a respectful, safe and positive environment.

8. Ratings

Wellness providers and users can rate each other and provide feedback on their satisfaction with a service, enhancing accountability and fostering a respectful, safe, and transparent environment. Ratings are displayed under users’ names on their profile page within the platform.

In cases of exceptionally low ratings, we may reach out to the user and, depending on the situation, suspend or terminate their access to their Amberfied account.

We trust that wellness providers on Amberfied deliver excellent service and uphold courteous and respectful behavior towards users. Maintaining a high average rating is beneficial, and being courteous and respectful to others on the Amberfied Platform contributes to this. Periodically, Amberfied may share information to help you improve your rating.

Please note that contacting Amberfied Support will not result in the removal of individual ratings. We understand that services may not always go smoothly, especially for those new to their career as providers, which is why your rating is an average.

Do not:

  • Manipulating the review system to provide deceitful information about wellness providers or their services;
  • Intentionally offering deceitful and unsolicited feedback;
  • Pressuring users to leave a 5-star review or provide more positive feedback than they are willing to give voluntarily;
  • Pressuring wellness providers to offer free services or make changes beyond the service description by threatening to leave negative feedback.

PART 3

How Amberfied enforces our guidelines.

Clear standards are essential for understanding when access to the Amberfied Platform may be revoked. Violating any terms of your contract, applicable policies, guidelines, or additional standards communicated by Amberfied can result in losing access. If you think an error caused your account loss, please contact Amberfied Support.

Amberfied collects feedback and reviews reports submitted to our Support team that indicate potential guideline violations. Amberfied may conduct an investigation or, if necessary, involve law enforcement. If we identify potentially problematic behavior, we may contact you to address the issue.

Access to the Amberfied Platform can be restricted or revoked due to reported guideline violations or certain actions taken outside the platform. Amberfied may receive information from other platforms and local regulators. If we determine these actions threaten the safety of the Amberfied community, employees, workers, contractors, or harm Amberfied’s brand, reputation, or business, your access to the platform may be restricted. Serious or repeated issues, or refusal to cooperate, may result in a permanent loss of access. Any behavior involving violence, sexual misconduct, harassment, fraud, discrimination, or any deceptive, illegal, or unsafe activity while using the Amberfied Platform can lead to immediate loss of access.

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend your account or designate it as ‘inactive’ until our review is finished, at our discretion.
